Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combos
Robot vacuums and mop are becoming more capable. They pass our tests on cleaning and are able to handle various flooring. Look for robot vacuum best that let you choose between several modes, utilize their charging dock to self-empty and clean up stairs.
Many of the top models integrate with your smartphone. Find an app that lets you save maps, schedules, and select cleaning modes.
1. Eufy Omni S1 Pro
The black and gloss gunmetal Omni S1 Pro from Eufy is one of most impressive robot vacuums and mop combos available. It makes use of lidar to navigate, creating maps of rooms and floors.
When I tested the S1, it was quick to locate our downstairs, which is home to laminate flooring in the kitchen, dining room and bathrooms, plus carpeting with a medium-pile and an area rug. It was able to drive close to walls without crashing into them, and was able to cross thresholds for rooms that are raised without problem, although it sometimes struggled to get down the stairs in one pass. The S1 performed well in cleaning hard floors. Its mop drove smoothly on its flat side and swung up when it was near carpets or carpets.
After every mopping session, the docking station on the S1 automatically emptys its dust bin and refills the water tank with clean ozonated filtered water. The dock also provides a deep-cleaning solution for the water. The S1 water tank can hold enough for 12 cleaning sessions, but this will differ dependent on how often you use the mop.
The S1 requires periodic maintenance, just like any other 2-in-1 robots. In order to do this, you'll have to clean the dirty water tank regularly to avoid it from clogging. Also, you'll need to clean the swivel wheel and sensors regularly to keep them from becoming clogged with dust or dirt. But, overall, the S1 is simple to maintain, particularly compared to other combos that require more hands-on maintenance.
2. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete
This all-in-one robot mop and vacuum from Ecovacs is a reliable option for your cleaning needs. Its robot vacuum boasts 8,700Pa of suction, and comes with numerous innovative features, including full home mapping, voice control and smart path-planning that avoids obstacles and cleans furniture. Its mopping ability is impressive. Rotating mop pads actually lift floors and scrub it, rather than simply moving a pad across the surface. The mops can be cleaned and dried at the base station, if required.
This robot combo is easy to install and use, with a simple interface that guides you through the process. It also comes with a hand-vacuum which can be used to clean hard-to reach areas that the robot cannot reach. There are also two water tanks that can be automatically filled or empty. It has a variety of useful settings that allow you to fine tune your cleaning preferences.
The Deebot X2 Combo Complete is a good vacuum cleaner. It has a powerful suction that is able to easily remove dirt and other debris that other robots struggle with. Its navigation capabilities are solid as well, though it can sometimes get caught in the small rug or area mats I have in my house (which is something you can mitigate by creating a virtual boundary in the app). Mopping capabilities are excellent, with a pair spinning mop pads that lift and scrub the floor, rather than just dragging the pad across it. The mops are cleaned using heated water and dried in the base station when needed. Mops are also refilled from the top of the base station when required.
3. Dreame X40 Ultra

Dreame's X30 Ultra robot vacuum and mop was released earlier this year. But their new flagship model has even more impressive features. It delivers outstanding cleaning results, and it is easy to maintain. This makes it a top contender on our list of the top mops and robot vacuums. Its superior mapping abilities, RGB AI smart detection and a larger side brush ensure that a thorough, customized clean is achieved.
The X40 Ultra does an excellent job of vacuuming and removing fine and large debris from both hard floors and carpets. It cleaned the dirtiest places of our tests efficiently, avoiding pet hairs and other dirt. The sweeping power is enhanced by an additional side brush that automatically moves out to tackle difficult-to-reach corners, and an extending mop pad that deploys alongside baseboards.
Its navigation is intelligent it can navigate through narrow spaces and negotiating stairways without missing a step. It can move from one area to another without changing direction, which is a handy feature for larger homes with many rooms. Its obstacle avoidance is less advanced than the ones of other competitors and leaves a wide space around obstacles. This could lead to missed spots.
The interface of the app is easy to use and well-organized. It should be simple to use for both novices and experienced users. The app allows you to plan and manage cleanings, change suction power and mopping settings, view 2D and 3D maps, and more. It is accessible via the app, Alexa, Google Assistant or Siri which allows you to monitor its progress from any location. You can even use the X40 Ultra's camera remotely to get real-time video monitoring. You'll need a stable WiFi connection to use the app and external controls.
4. Roomba Q5 Pro
Robot vacuums are fantastic at picking up dirt and debris, but they can't reach all dust. This is why it's important to make use of your regular vacuum once every week, and especially to pick up dust in corners, on shelves, and in the crevices of your couch. Roborock's Q5 Pro is a 2-in-1 vacuum and mop robot that was designed to accomplish exactly that. It's simple to connect to your home Wi-Fi network, and works with Alexa and Apple Siri, making it an even more useful addition to your routine of cleaning.
The Q5 is a stripped-down version of the more expensive models in the S-series from the company, such as the flagship Roborock S8 maxV ultra. It uses the same LIDAR mapping sensors, however it's less expensive because it doesn't have mopping capabilities and comes with an aluminum body.
Even though it's not able to mop floors, the Q5 still has some of the most impressive mopping and vacuum performance we've seen from a robot in this price range. It has a suction power of 5500Pa and an auto-empty system that means you don't have to empty the bin manually each time. It has a smart app which allows you to schedule cleaning and determine the floor type. It also features an automatic water tank filling and washing system to allow hands-free operation.
The mops are also quite impressive, with 2700Pa of power that can tackle dust, dirt and pet hair on hard floors and carpets. The Q5 was one of the few robots that we tested did not show problems with high-pile rugs and carpets. However, it could not remove kitty-poop or cable tangles. This isn't too surprising as it doesn't have AI-powered obstacle-avoidance features.
5. K10 Plus
K10 Plus is one of the most quiet robovacs that we've tested. It also uses a unique system to map your home. This will allow it to enter places that other vacuums cannot reach. This device also has a larger bin, so you don't need to empty it as frequently. Additionally, it has washable filters which further reduces the cost of using the device. This robot can detect carpets, and increase suction when needed. You can also mark off areas you would like the robot to avoid using the app.
